The 4th annual Redvers & District Oil Showcase and Dinner was held on May 10-11th, 2012. Dreary, rainy weather in the weeks leading up to the show threatened to make the outdoor exhibits a little mucky and less than enjoyable, but with the help of some fabulous companies the yard was ready for move in as scheduled.

There was a record turnout of exhibitors this year – 137 in total – as well as 1,500 attendees to enjoy the showcase. With Redvers located right in the middle of the action, the record crowd can undoubtedly be attributed to the increased activity SE Saskatchewan and SW Manitoba have seen in the Bakken play over the last few years.

The Redvers and District 4th Oil Showcase helps to create a new awareness about the oil industry in the area and all of the businesses touched by this booming industry. The support from the community for this Showcase is overwhelming – a show of this size in a small town cannot take place without the help of numerous volunteers and committees and to them, Redvers and District 4th Oil Showcase says “Thank You”!
